On Mar 11, 12, and 13 Steve, K4SDJ and I went up to the Atlanta Red Cross chapter to attend a Disaster Relief Communications course. This training was to get some hands on experience in setting up a data and voice network comprised of a SATCOM terminal, a Cisco LAN and WLAN, Cisco IP phones, servers and laptops, as well as the UHF and VHF low band radio systems that the Red Cross use. Good stuff.Monday, March 14, 2011
